With the SPECS group, WYSIWYD met high school students during the Escolab event http://escolab.bcn.cat/, an initiave of Barcelona Ciència de l'Institut de Cultura and Cultura Científica de l'Institut d'Educació de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona, in collaboration with academic and research centres around Barcelona. http://escolab.bcn.cat/ca/home
For the whole day students from primary and secondary schools are exposed to different subjects such as science and technology, but also the humanities, architecture, social sciences, and more. In SPECS the students will learn a bit about brain research and how the principles of brain function can be translated into computational work to make robots move, see, talk, learn as animals do!
